Model trains

The Belleville and Brighton Model Train Clubs are sponsoring the Quinte Model Train Show on Saturday March 25 from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. and on Sunday March 26 from 10 a.m. till 3:30 p.m. The location is Centennial Secondary School on Palmer Rd. Yard sale

Westminster United Church, 1199 Wallbridge Loyalist Road, will hold an Indoor and Outdoor Yard Sale April 28-29 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days. There will also be a metal drop-off in the church parking lot from April 23-29. Helping to save the environment, please bring your own bags. Roast Beef Dinner

A Roast Beef Curbside Dinner will be held Wednesday, March 29 between 4-6 p.m. at Emmanuel United, 458 Ashley Street in Foxboro. Enjoy roast beef, gravy, potatoes, corn, coleslaw and cake. $20 at pickup. Please stay in your car and your meal(s) will be brought to you. Parrott Gallery

Spring Carnival

A Spring Carnival is being organized by Central Hastings School and Madoc Township Public School on Saturday, May 6th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Madoc Fairgrounds. This event promises to be a fun-filled event for the whole family and will showcase some great stuff the two schools are doing to raise money and create a great community event for everyone to enjoy.
